The National Basketball Association (NBA) and PlayON today announced a multi-year partnership that makes PlayON the Official Daily Fantasy Partner of the NBA in multiple markets throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Beginning with the 2017 NBA Playoffs, PlayON will offer Official Daily Fantasy NBA Games in major markets across the globe, including the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany in Europe; Brazil, Mexico and Argentina in Latin America; and Australia, Japan and the Philippines in Asia-Pacific. The games will be tailored to local audiences and offered in local languages, creating an immersive entertainment experience.
Daily fantasy, which provides a strong complement to live sport, allows fans to pick new teams every day. The platform is gaining popularity in international markets and is expected to help drive tune-in and engage existing and prospective NBA fans.
